At Redesy Design, we believe that it is essential to tailor a personal design approach that is a combination of both a client’s aspirations and personal tastes. In discussing all aspects of the project that are paramount to our client’s vision, we are able to build a detailed interior design brief that reflects individuality.

Comprising a talented and diverse team of interior architects, interior designers and technologists, Redesy Design has a wealth of experience in spatial design, interior decoration, furniture and product development.

Sensitively translating each client’s interior design requirements into inviting and desirable residences, Redesy Design achieves a level of perfection and sustainability; creating interior designs that inspire, yet remain timeless in a modern world.

Our concept stage outlines the developed brief and features the evolution of the interior design scheme to our client’s requirements. The content of this stage includes developed design sketches and mood boards capturing key design aspirations. To further convey the bespoke design aesthetics, we introduce materials and fabrics to assist in identifying colour palettes and tones to highlight the tactile and softer elements of the design scheme.

We work closely with clients to understand their lifestyle and tastes, translating their aspirations and requirements into spatial designs that are not only striking and inviting, but work intelligently and intuitively to maximise the client’s enjoyment of their property.

For commercial projects, Redesy Design’s interior architects seek to understand how the building needs to work, creating highly evolved and detailed designs which not only seek to inspire and invite the admiration of users, but also actively support the operational and logistical needs of the business.

Our development stage builds upon the Concept stage to refine the final details of the design. We present the developed details, soft furnishings and specifications through meticulously and methodically produced drawings and schedules. In this stage, the overall design is finalised through carefully mapped step by step processes.

From initial concept architectural and spatial designs, the Redesy Design interior architects produce detailed technical drawings and specifications and work seamlessly with development managers to ensure they are realised to the highest possible construction standards.

One of the top interior design studios in London, Redesy’s talented team of interior architects understands the transformative potential of light, space, shape and form.

Interior Design

Redesy deliver inspirational, personal interiors, created for each individual client. We are proud not to have a “house style”, we works closely with all our clients, taking great time and care to discover and nurture their aesthetic and lifestyle aspirations for their project.

Our background as a fashion and textile designer company is reflected in her love of form, texture and colour, which along with the client’s aesthetic and lifestyle aspirations, form the backbone of the project.

We believe that all design disciplines need to work together; our interior design schemes are developed in close coordination with our in-house interior architecture, architectural design, lighting and landscaping design teams to ensure a harmonious aesthetic that results in exceptionally well executed, balanced and beautifully finished homes.

We use our extensive contacts within the interiors world to source unique furniture, fittings, fabrics and soft furnishings, drawing on our long established relationships with specialist suppliers, craftsmen; and a network of international sources for salvage, antiques, art and unusual items.

Interior Architecture

Our interior architecture is designed in house by our design team, this is done closely in development with the interior design and architectural design for the project, to form a coordinated cohesive aesthetic.

To uncover the full potential of the property, careful consideration is given to rethinking the general arrangements of the spaces involved and their layout, flow, proportion, spatial perception and usability all whilst respecting the original architectural bones of the building.

Once the general arrangements are established, internal architectural elements, such as staircases, door sets, ironmongery, stonework and internal detailing are designed.

By challenging the traditional approach of separate design, project management and construction and adopting an approach where all these services are under a single point of control, we are able to make projects more manageable and successful ensuring that the construction process works seamlessly and that schemes are implemented as designed, taking away stressful elements and allowing our clients to enjoy the whole process whilst achieving the highest level of performance and quality.

BESPOKE JOINERY & FURNITURE

Bespoke fitted and freestanding joinery designed for a space, are often key pieces of a scheme. Bespoke pieces can elevate a space either through their aesthetic qualities, using unusual materials and textures or by creating practical clever design solutions for difficult areas.

We love designing bespoke pieces that elevate a space either through their aesthetic qualities, using unusual materials and textures or by creating practical clever design solutions for difficult areas. Meticulous attention to detail is key, to this end we work closely with our clients to ensure that all their requirements both aesthetic and practical are met.

Our team’s substantial knowledge and trained eye we design beautiful and practical high quality free standing furniture and fitted joinery pieces including bespoke kitchens, larders, bathrooms and dressing rooms, offering innovative and clever storage solutions; and creating unique pieces of furniture.

Our Approach

We listen and respond to our clients’ unique requirements, rather than rolling out a practice style. This means spending time at the outset to assess the needs of our clients and working carefully with the project team to ensure we are all aware of our individual roles. We often convey our understanding through hand-sketching, which helps bring ideas to life.

Construction and design projects are always complicated and truly individual design solutions require extra thought. We always factor thinking time into our proposals. Lateral and practical thought is fundamental to our work. We often think about whether there may be a simpler way to achieve a similar result and are always careful to consider what will work best for our client and the project team.

With our focus on the correct interpretation of our design detailing, we offer support to the project team right the way through the construction process, commenting on and understanding their interpretation of the design throughout construction. Typically we become our clients’ eyes and ears. Post-installation we offer attentive aftercare to our clients and provide Operating, Maintenance and Cleaning Manuals for use by our clients and their staff. To date, we have had repeat projects from every client.

We discourage starting on site until every detail has been considered, the design has been signed off and the client is happy.

TESTIMONIALS

  • James P

I was attracted to working with Redesy Design as I didn’t want the signature look that many designers have – I definitely wanted my house to still feel like mine. They were expertly skilled at using a range of suppliers that fitted the design brief and I felt very comfortable trusting their decisions as I knew they understood the look that I wanted to achieve.
  • John J

We had the pleasure of working with Redesy Design for a full refurb of our house. What was clear from the outset was that they are very accommodating to the client’s requirements and once the objectives are clear, they put forward a very detailed concept for the project.
  • Joanna B

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Redesy to achieve our dream home. We love our house and how it feels and embodies our spirit. Redesy took time to understand what we wanted to achieve, were flexible, patient and encouraging with us as we went through our own journey of discovering what we liked.
  • Marry D

We have worked with Redesy Design on a recent Kitchen project as part of a larger refurb and extension and have another project just about to start. From the beginning, it was clear they understood their client. We were given a detailed and accurate brief on the client’s requirements and a clear concept of what they envisaged as an overall look.
